Education as the Greatest Equalizer in Rural Nepal

If I were to point to one force—one single lever—that has the greatest power to transform lives and societies, I would point without hesitation to education.

Education is not merely the acquisition of facts. It is the awakening of agency. It teaches a child from a remote village that she belongs in the conversation about her nation's future.
